By the time Blitz had entered the water, the reflechi had released a now-limp Nobody, focused more on pulling off his sweater than anything. But when a surge of electricity suddenly coursed through it, its thin body was fried instantly, charring it until it became nothing but a thin, burnt corpse. It was quickly swept away. The electricity, however, was not.
Suddenly, a horde of thin, charred corpses rose from the water, quickly slipping past Blitz, along with a multitude of fish, frogs, and numerous other, unnamed creatures. He had fried the entire river - including the person inside of it.
Shocks surging through his body, Nobody quietly rose to the surface, face-down. Unlike the rest of the wildlife, however, he wasn't immediately swept away by the current. Instead, he slowly and silently began to slip away, the smell of burnt hair, fabric, and skin filling the air. Now, he looked more like a pile of clothes that someone had carelessly used and discarded. The only indication that anyone was still inside of those clothes were a pair of grey eyes, gazing into the distance. He only stopped when, as he floated away, his shoe suddenly got wedged in between some rocks. There, he floated, quiet.
It was amazing how quickly things could change. One moment, Nobody was a living, breathing person, full of thoughts, hopes, and dreams. The next, he was just a bundle of clothes, quietly swaying in the water, as emotionless and lifeless as the rocks he was stuck on.
