Shoutbox The shoutbox is designed for quick communication across the forum. It should never be at any time filled up with name-calling and serious arguments against other forum members. You will be invited to make a forum topic on this issue or continue it in private via personal messaging. Failure to do so will not be tolerated and will lead to temporary bans or permanent bans. I encourage members to not allow themselves to be provoked into lashing back against someone who is attacking them. This may result in you being penalized as well. Please contact Shain regarding your issues with another forum members and I will work to solve the problems with you. Artwork You must use artwork which is your own, but you may also use work with consent from the creator and proper credit. Proper credit is defined as including the artist's name, alias, or username as well as including a link to their website if at all possible. Though limited use is encouraged, photographs may also be used with proper credit. Please note that art theft will not be condoned here and members are encouraged to report suspected offenders. The quality of your work doesn't need to rival the Mona Lisa, but you are encouraged to put enough thought and effort into it as to express what the work needs to for the role play. For example, a quick sketch (with or without color) may be perfectly appropriate in a role play with a faster pace. There is no set required "quality", but rather this is mostly to be determined by the individual or group. In addition to this, you may choose to compose your replies in a comic strip form, single (or multiple) illustrations which may or may not also include some written content, etc. You are encouraged to experiment with your compositional options and are not restricted to any one method! Role Play New! Written, paragraph-style role play is just as welcome anywhere on the forum as drawing-based role play! Please respect forum creators who may define their role play topics as drawn-based only, written-based only, or mixed when you consider joining a role play. The Sale of Characters The forum will not be held responsible for these transactions, so members are encouraged to participate in the trading and sale of characters at their own discretion. |
