So I was watching some reviews on cartoons earlier today (wow how riveting), when the reviewer dude that I was watching mentioned a show called the "Gregory Horror Show". It's actually an anime, but lemme tell ya, it looks NOTHING like your average sugoi sempai anime.
It starts off in first person, with you being this dude that got lost in the woods. You find this hotel, and soon you meet the eponymous Gregory, the owner of said hotel. He shows you to your room, but warns you not to go to any others. After all, not all of the guests are pleasant.
Each episode is about 2 minutes long, with the entire first season being about an hour and a half. In each segment, you meet a new character. They each represent a fear - fear of consequences, fear of criticism, fear of jump scares... etc.
For example, you meet Judgement Boy, a guest who presents you with two choices. If you hesitate for even a moment, you're doomed. You also meet Hell's Chef, a chef who doesn't respond well to criticism, and Catherine, an... interesting nurse. (When you DO meet her, I suggest putting on some earphones or turning down the volume - she makes some REALLY suggestive sounds).
Each segment also teaches some kind of moral, though most are pretty morbid.
The series can be found here: YouTube playlist - Volume One
I'm not too far into it, but it's pretty interesting so far! Volume 2, I've heard, changes the protagonist, so that ought to be interesting! I'm really digging the character designs so far (with Hell's Chef's being my favorite : D)
So yep! Just thought I'd talk about it since it's a pretty unique show! Maybe some of you will like it too! :D
