Name: AS'HEEYIR (UH-SHEER) Nickname: ASHA Age: 346 Gender: FEMALE Species: DEN'UUR Ethnicity: SHEYN REGION Height: 6'7'' Weight: 70 LBS OR 32 KG Orientation: ASEXUAL Occupation: STUDENT LEADER Play-by: Amy
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Asha is a technically deep sea creature, which justifies her gills on the front and sides of her face. Her side gills are not needed for basic survival, but she is fairly weakened when she cannot use them. Due to this fact, she is either kept in a tank or uses a temporary mask-like breathing device that stores water for her frontal gills. Although most deep sea creatures have dark skin, Asha has royal blood and has a rare genetic trait - light turquoise skin. Yet, a characteristic she does share with those that live in her father's kingdom is her blindness. She usually has no need for clothing, and swims her writhy body in quick, s-shaped motions. On land, she does not often have prepared clothing and seeks mostly to protect her body and not feel exposed to predators who would not care for her status. Therefore, she's often seen wearing rags and her assisting devices for breaking and watering her body.
PERSONALITY In her comfort zone (otherwise known as the Den'Uur Sea), Asha is kind and calm, but has little initiative or ambition to be the leader she is destined to be. She loves the people and interacts with them often, but refuses to spend more time with the court and the predators who rule it, choosing instead the company of schools of fishes and the humbler creatures that are often seen as prey. She also takes a greater liking to the creatures of shallower waters, but cannot see them often due to her own physical limitations. She is not fond of studying, although she bears her basic duties as a princess in training. Yet, she has displayed great abilities with problem solving, which seems to be her father's only hope for allowing her to take up the throne. Yet, he fears that, instead of a just leader, she will reverse the roles of the current classes that exist in the kingdom, taking little to no consideration for the hunting kind. Asha likes to think of the world as a place with potential for kindness that fails because of those who impose their will. Yet, she often forgets that those who hunt are also seeking survival and joy just as much as the humble prey.
PERSONAL HISTORY Asha was raised mostly by her instructors, and although she had contact with her busy parents, they often had no more influence or time with her as any other teacher would. She was always fond of physical activity with the exception of fighting classes, until she started to see the horrors that the predators of the court (who imposed their power based on their ability to kill) would perform on the humbler population. Soon, she was training to defend them more than she was to improve herself. Her father encouraged her to prey on those who got in her way, for that is the way of the kingdom - yet, her prey was those who caused injustice. In her mind, once they were vanquished, the humbler population would live peacefully. Yet, there was much irony in her hypothesis which she was blind to. Being far too small and weak to carry out her plan for peace throughout the kingdom, Asha studies in order to establish her theoretical base and continues to train, with fear that she may never be able to change the current system that oppresses so many. |
