Name: Kathie Conflo
(Conflo was self given, and not her real last name)
Nickname: Katt or Cat, but when written for her she prefers Katt. Katie has been accepted as well, but not as often.
Age: 17
Sex: Female
Species: Human
Nationality: Born in Britain, but moved to America at age 11
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 172lbs
Personality: She’s fairly excitable when presented with a subject she enjoys to talk about. Past that, Katt is very quiet, and is found messing with her clothing or her multiple anomalous objects. When around friends, she will almost cling to them in social situations, which is one reason why she is typically found alone. From what she’s seen, people DON’T like it when people hang around them at all times. Isn’t that weird? Whatever, she’s been used to being alone, and it doesn’t bother her too much. She has taken to actually ignoring people unless their appearance interests her to a point of actually interacting with them. If she dislikes someone, she is typically passive aggressively sarcastic towards them, and gets frustrated easily by anything the other does. Around anything alive yet not specifically human, she will try to not only protect said thing, but also bond with it, sapient or not. When given the capibility, she will talk up a storm about a subject, and gets off topic often. Somethings she will not speak about include the origin of her objects, her past, and her parents. It’s no huge secret, she just perfers to focus on the future
Appearance: Katt is fairly tall, considering her have been surrounded by short Americans for a good six years. She is fairly thin, but she wouldn’t be considered lanky nor athletic in any way. While she does run quite a bit, she’s never gotten the physique of a runner. She typically wears darker colors, and underneath her easily taken off clothes, a latex suit can be found. It’s quite a bit like what divers would wear, but it’s not really made for water. She wears it just in case she needs to suddenly become more aerodynamic, which has happened before. To help with this, she also binds her chest down with a wrap consisting of an Ace bandage. For now, it’s all she could get her hands on, so the rib and chest pain is something she needs to live with. . Her hair is cut short, by herself, and is dyed varying shades of orange. Quite often, though, her blonde roots will show due to her not touching up on her hair. Her eyes are a greenish-brown type of hazel, though it’s been leaning more towards green as the years go by. She has exactly five prominent freckles on her left cheek, and six on her right. Her pale skin is mostly covered, when you don’t take her face into account, due to her latex, sometimes pants, and her grey zip-up hoodie and her gloves. When not wearing the hoodie correctly, the hoodie is normally tied around her waist or her neck, making a sort of cape. If you ever see her hands and arms without the gloves on, you would see they’re covered in burn scars, as well as scars from very sharp objects. To go along with all of this, she also carries quite the special laptop/messenger bag. I’ll touch up on this bag in a second, but she constantly has it on and will only ever take it off when she’s at the place she’s decided to sleep in. Even then, it’s near her.
History: Kathie was born in a very small village in the country areas of England. She has been told by her parents to not disclose the name of said village, so she shan’t do that. Not much really happened there, but at the age of 11, she had moved along with her parents to America. They were investigating a few odd situations going on in a small town in Ohio, and had decided it to be a good idea to take their daughter with them. She had had an uncanny ability to find anomalous objects for quite some time, and had a small collection that she had to leave behind when they moved. After three years with nothing being found, her parents had ran into a terrible storm on their drive back home. Kathie was in the back seat, and saw as her parents swerved off of the bridge, and into the wooded area below. She had made her way out, but had found her parents dead after five minutes of trying to get their door open. On her walk back, she had found a kind old man who gave her quite the nice pair of gloves. She had, and still has no idea why he gave them to her, or who he even was, but as soon as she looked back up from the oddly warm gloves, he was gone. She found what the gloves did soon, and ended up with burns going up her arms and one the size of her palm on her thigh. Not too long after that, she had found and subsequently taken the bag she carries around now. No one asked her about it, so she just kept it with her since then. Now 17, she has a few more objects she carries around, but she has otherwise just been exploring for the short amount of time she has on this ooooh so wonderful Earth she’s stuck on.
Objects being carried now:
Messenger Bag: One of her favorite objects; also called the Mary Poppins Bag. Anything that can fit in the entrance will fit in the bag, and not hinder her by the weight. Normally, she carries four weeks worth of rations, sixteen water bottles, a first aid kit, an extra set of clothes, pajamas, two blankets, and her laptop. It will not hold living beings, and things may only be taken out if thought of specifically. However, she has found things inside she did not put in before.
Heated Gloves: Her other favorite object that she wears at all times. It allows her to spark a flame in her hand and manipulate it with her thoughts if she wants. Expanding, shrinking, and getting hotter are all things she can control with the flames. The downside is, if kept up for too long, it will leave a burn where the flame was being held. If allowed to spread, or if responding to panic, it will spread up the arms and cause burns wherever possible.
Pocket Knife: An object kept either in the front, not unlimited pocket of her messenger bag, or in her hoodie pocket. It doesn’t dull and seems to be able to cut any matter it comes into contact with. Of course, that means she needs to be insanely careful with it, and always remember to close it, or she’ll end up with more scars on her hands, as well as more cuts on her hoodie pocket.
Bottle of Pills: These are a part of the special rations she keeps in her bag. She found it in there after exploring and looking for anything that might be in someone’s purse or bag. From the looks of them, they look like any other prescription antibiotic, orange bottle and all. However, the name is illegible and seems to have been scratched out. Also, after she experimentally took a pill, she had no need to eat nor drink for the next week. After finding three more bottles in varying sizes, she now has a count of 64 pills left. She does not plan on using any, but she might need to later.
Bag of Weed(s): Hah, she loves the name she gave to this. Unlike one might think, this bag of unidentifiable plant matter will not get you high. It will, however, grow into a fairly poisonous vine on any biological surface introduced to. Katt almost had to go to a hospital, but learned the blue pills in the bottles helped with the poison she inflicted upon herself when she bagged this beautiful specimen. She has no idea what she can do with this stuff, but she’s been keeping it with her for a few months now.
